Yes, options are available for certain dietary restrictions. Please ask your server for more information.

How soon can I make a reservation? 

Guests can make reservations 14 days in advance online through our reservation system OpenTable or over the phone. To make a reservation, please visit our Reservations page here. Please note: for parties of 7-12 guests, reservations must be made by email request to 17 days in advance. 

What are your parking options? 

Validated self-parking is available at Premier Parking Pinnacle Garage. The garage is located at 150 3rd Ave S, Nashville, TN 37201. Must have receipt of purchase at House of Cards for validation. Parking validation is available at the host stand. Vehicle clearance for parking is 6 feet, 8 inches. 

What are the age restrictions at House of Cards? 

House of Cards is 21 and up only, except for Family Brunch.  Visit our Family Brunch page for other age allowances.

Where are you located?

We are located in downtown Nashville at 119 3rd Ave S, Nashville TN 37201, on the lower level below the Johnny Cash Museum. Guests will enter through the main entrance of the Johnny Cash Museum. 

Are photos allowed?

Photos are only allowed in the entrance stairwell, on the outdoor patio or in the restroom lounge. Photos are strictly prohibited in every other area of the restaurant. Complimentary photos taken by our house photographer will be given to all guests during their meal. For more information on our photo policy, click here


Do you allow outside wine or bottles?

No, we do not allow outside wine or bottles. ​

Do you have a patio?

We have an outdoor patio perfect for enjoying a delicious cocktail or a cigar from our cigar menu

How does the magic work?  

We have magicians performing on the restaurant floor at all times. We also have magic shows on the main stage in our Carter the Great showroom multiple times throughout Brunch and Dinner. Tickets to the magic show are complimentary and included with the purchase of an entrée. (One ticket per one entrée.)

Can I purchase a magic show ticket without purchasing Brunch or Dinner? 

No, magic show tickets are ONLY included with purchase of an entrée

What times are the magic shows? 

Magic shows in our Carter the Great showroom take place multiple times per evening. Your server will provide you with a ticket at the end of your meal and inform your party of the next available show time.​

Is there a cover charge?

There is no cover charge. 

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, guests may purchase a gift card online by visiting or by clicking the Gift Cards tab in our menu. Gift cards may also be purchased in-store at House of Cards. 

How can I make a reservation for a large group or for the private dining room? 

For more information about private dining in our Blackstone Room, for parties of 13+ or for more information on booking your next event with us, please fill out the form on our Events page here.  Advanced reservations may be made for events and large party bookings.

Can I book the entire restaurant for my party or special event? 

Yes, we allow full buyouts of House of Cards. For more information about buyouts, please visit our Events page here


Can I join a waitlist?

Yes, we have an online waitlist through our reservation system OpenTable.  If you join our online waitlist via the OpenTable app, we will notify you if we have a cancellation.  Please note: you must have the OpenTable app set up on your phone and alert set for House of Cards.  We also accept walk-ins subject to dress code and availability.
